Comments From Some Regular Guy

A lot of Hollywood folks are pretty god at what they do.

My living room wall. Kind of proud of this (it could possibly all come crashing down at any moment)

Eliz. Warren wants to cut student interest rates to near zero

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has introduced her first piece of legislation. It’s called the Bank on Students Loan Fairness Act, and would reduce the rate students pay on federally-subsidized student loans for one year, from 3.4% to 0.75%.
Without congressional action, on July 1 the rate is set to double from 3.4% to 6.8%.
Warren brings up an interesting point – her bill simply asks students to pay the same rates that big banks pay for borrowing.

She’s literally just asking if college grads can get the same deal as bank CEOs. The exact same interest rate. Not even a bailout or anything fancy (pipe dreams!) - just the same interest rate.

BLESS YOU ELIZABETH WARREN.
YOU GOTTA FIGHT!  FOR OUR RIGHT!  To pay no interest on our bullshit college loans.

I wish politicians gave as much of a shit about us as Elizabeth Warren does.

Reducing student loan interest - and in some cases relieving college grad’s of their loan debt - is, IMHO, a great way to boost the economy. College graduates tend to make more money, and we tend to spend it in the retail economy. That is always a good thing. If you cap and lower interest rates or simply relieve student loan debt, you will inject who knows how much money into the economy. .

Starting to like the way this bag is looking.

No doubt this is good news, but will they tour? will they perform together on stage and will it be anywhere close to the same as it was?

We all know they could make an album in this day and age without ever being in the studio together. And last time I saw them on a stage together (Grammy acceptance) it looked like they both wanted to dig their own eyes out with dull spoons. Just Sayin.
